Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) is an evidence-based home visitation program designed to work with vulnerable, isolated, and often low-income mothers of children between three and five years of age.

HIPPY leverages mothers’ motivation to give their children the best possible chance at life and builds their capacity, confidence, and community connections as they take on the lead role in preparing their children for school.

HIPPY strengthens families and communities by breaking the isolation by building trust and bringing families into the fold of service delivery by enabling access to various essential services. It empowers mothers to better understand their rights and communities so they can meaningfully integrate and actively participate in society. HIPPY prepares children for success at school and in life.
